Vercel, a U.S.-based cloud platform, helps front-end developers working with frameworks like Next.js to build and deploy scalable websites.
Backed by previous rounds of funding and growing adoption across the developer ecosystem, Vercel is now positioned as a competitive force in the serverless deployment space.
This update covers the company’s latest $300 million Series F raise, its collaboration with Solara6, and its integration with NuxtLabs.

The round was co-led by Accel and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC. New investors include BlackRock, StepStone, and Khosla Ventures.
The company said it will use the funding to expand its AI Cloud products and add security features.
A large portion is also allocated to scaling its AI development agent, v0, which Vercel reports is now used by over 3.5 million people.
In addition, Vercel plans to launch v0 Mobile in October. The product is designed to let developers create applications using voice and camera inputs, further streamlining multi-modal development workflows.
A separate $300 million secondary tender offer is scheduled to close in November, giving current and former employees, as well as early investors, an opportunity to sell shares.
Vercel and Solara6 Join Forces to Improve Ecommerce
On July 25, Vercel announced a partnership with Solara6, a digital agency that has delivered ecommerce platforms for brands including Kate Spade, Coach, and Mattress Firm.
The agency focuses on performance engineering, automated workflows, and front-end efficiency backed by AI tooling.
Solara6 reports measurable gains across client metrics, including faster developer deployment cycles, lower infrastructure costs, improved page load speeds, and increased conversion rates.
Clients have also seen stronger organic visibility driven by improved site performance.
Furthermore, the partnership enables ecommerce teams using Solara6 to deploy on Vercel’s infrastructure.
This gives them faster site rendering, more reliable uptime during high-traffic windows, and improved technical SEO performance – all of which directly support transactional outcomes during high-demand events like seasonal promotions and limited-release drops.
NuxtLabs Joins Vercel to Advance Nuxt and Nitro Development
On July 8, Vercel announced that NuxtLabs is joining the company. NuxtLabs leads the development of Nuxt and Nitro, two core tools in the modern JavaScript ecosystem.

Nuxt and Nitro will continue to operate as independent, open source tools under the MIT license. Vercel confirmed that both projects will keep their public roadmaps, maintain open governance, and remain framework-agnostic.
In addition, this ensures developers using Nuxt or Nitro outside of the Vercel ecosystem won’t face compatibility or vendor restrictions.
The integration also gives the NuxtLabs team access to more resources and infrastructure support, allowing them to speed up feature work while keeping the community involved in decision-making.
Conclusion
Backed by new capital and a growing portfolio of infrastructure and framework-level integrations, Vercel is positioning itself to compete more directly with legacy cloud providers and developer platforms that haven’t yet optimized for front-end performance and generative AI workflows.
