Coram AI, a company specializing in AI-driven video security, has secured $13.8 million in Series A funding, bringing its total capital raised to $30 million. Earlier, the funding round, announced on January 16, 2025, was led by Battery Ventures, with additional backing from 8VC and Mosaic Ventures.
Altogether, this investment will help expand Coram AI’s product offerings, grow its engineering and sales teams, and enhance its market presence. As part of the funding deal, Marcus Ryu, co-founder and former CEO of Guidewire Software, has joined Coram AI’s board of directors.

Coram AI develops hardware-agnostic video security solutions that use large language models (LLMs) to analyze footage in real-time. Moreover, its platform upgrades standard security cameras, allowing them to detect threats, improve safety, and optimize surveillance operations.
